School of Oriental Studies of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics of the Higher School of Economics invites undergraduate and graduate students, postgraduates and young scientists to participate in the XI scientific student conference “Eastern Perspective”, which is scheduled for May 18, 2024.

The conference covers issues related to the development of Japan, China, the States of the Korean Peninsula and the Arab countries. It is planned to work in separate sections on the following subject areas : history, culture, politics, economics, international relations, etc. We ask participants to submit abstracts in the section language. Master's and postgraduate students can only take part in Section 7 in English. Requirements for abstracts are posted on the conference website.
