Political Economy of Energy in Europe and Russia, organised by CEPMLP and the
National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE). Dates of Event:

Sustainable Development in the Energy Sector is the fourth meeting of the international forum on Political Economy of
Energy in Europe and Russia (PEEER).
This conference aims to bring together leading oil and gas industrialists as well as academics from the UK, the US and Russia to discuss various aspects of
sustainable development in the energy sector, including issues of transparency, resource audit, environmental mitigation, natural gas issues and mechanisms of
renewable energy promotion.
The seminar will take place in Perm, Russia, an oil and gas stronghold of the world's largest hydrocarbon producer. Delegates will have the opportunity to
visit industry sites and meet with leading industry experts.
